Town House
This 1980s house in central Cambridge was extensively altered and refurbished. The existing garage was turned into an attractive new entrance with utility room and WC, the previous dark side entrance was converted into covered bike storage.
On the ground floor the layout has been opened up to allow for views across the entire space: large bi-folding doors open up into the garden.
A white-stained oak and glass stair leads the way up over all four floors into the attic, which has been converted into a guest bedroom with spectacular views over Midsummer Common. A new large rooflight brings light down the opened-up stairwell. New en-suite bathrooms have been installed, and fittings and finishes have been replaced throughout the home to create a modern yet timeless light and airy interior.
